Business consulting for companies that refuse to plateau

We work with owner-managed and mid-market firms across Northern Ireland and the wider UK. Our focus is narrow: find the operational drag, fix it, and leave you with a team that can keep the gains without us.

How an engagement actually works

1

Diagnostic call (free, 40 minutes)

You tell us where growth has stalled or where costs feel wrong. We ask pointed questions about revenue mix, team structure, and decision-making speed. By the end we both know whether there is a fit.

2

Two-week deep dive

Our team spends two weeks inside your numbers, your processes, and your people dynamics. We interview key staff, audit workflows, and benchmark your unit economics against sector peers. The output is a findings deck with costed recommendations, not a 90-page report nobody reads.

3

Prioritised roadmap

We rank every recommendation by effort versus impact. Quick wins go first. Structural changes get a realistic timeline with named owners from your side, not ours.

4

Embedded execution

A lead consultant joins your weekly rhythm for the duration of the engagement. They sit in your stand-ups, chase blockers, and keep the roadmap honest. This is where most consulting firms disappear. We stay.

5

Handover and 90-day check-in

We transfer every tool, dashboard, and process doc to your team. Ninety days later we come back to measure what stuck and what needs adjusting. No ongoing retainer required.

Who we are (and who we are not)

ConsultElevate started in 2019 when three former operations directors got tired of watching good companies waste money on consulting decks that never left the shelf. We are based in South Monahaning, Northern Ireland, and we travel to clients across the UK and Ireland.

We are not a large firm. We do not sell frameworks named after Greek gods. Our team of twelve includes former CFOs, supply-chain leads, and a behavioural psychologist who helps leadership teams stop having the same argument every quarter.

If your revenue sits between £2m and £40m, you are our sweet spot. Smaller companies usually need a fractional COO, not a consulting engagement. Larger ones have internal strategy teams. The middle is where outside perspective creates the most value per pound spent.

What we actually do

Revenue diagnostics

We map every pound of revenue back to its true cost. Most clients discover that 15 to 30 per cent of their product or service lines destroy margin once overhead allocation is honest. We help you decide what to grow, what to reprice, and what to drop.

Operational restructuring

Warehousing, fulfilment, procurement, shift patterns: we redesign the physical and procedural flow of your operation. One manufacturing client cut order-to-dispatch time from nine days to three without adding headcount.

Leadership alignment

Strategy fails when the people at the top disagree on what matters this quarter. Our behavioural psychologist facilitates working sessions that surface hidden conflicts and produce a single, written set of priorities the whole leadership team signs off on.

Growth planning

Thinking about a second site, a new market, or an acquisition? We stress-test the numbers, model three scenarios (base, upside, downside), and present a go/no-go recommendation with the assumptions laid bare so your board can challenge them.

Exit readiness

Selling a business in the next 18 to 36 months? Buyers pay more for clean financials, documented processes, and a management team that can run things without the founder. We prepare all three.

Questions we hear often

A diagnostic call is free. The two-week deep dive starts at £6,500. Embedded execution is priced per month and depends on scope; typical engagements run between £4,000 and £9,000 per month. We quote a fixed fee before any work begins, so there are no surprise invoices.
Rarely. Our methods assume you already have revenue, customers, and a team. If you are pre-revenue, a mentor or accelerator programme will give you better value than a consulting engagement at this stage.
The deep dive requires at least three days on-site. After that, most of the embedded execution happens through video calls, shared dashboards, and your existing project tools. We visit in person for quarterly reviews and any workshop that involves more than four people.
Manufacturing, professional services, distribution, and food and drink make up about 80 per cent of our client base. The common thread is owner-managed or PE-backed firms with £2m to £40m in turnover. We have turned down work in sectors where we lack operational context, because generic advice wastes everyone's time.
We track every recommendation against a measurable KPI agreed at the start. If a specific initiative misses its target at the 90-day check-in, we investigate why and adjust the approach at no extra cost. We have never had a client where zero recommendations moved the needle, but we are transparent about which ones underperformed and what we learned.
